Permit Services
We Handle the Permitting Side - Start to Finish
We support refrigeration contractors and private providers by managing the entire permitting process.
When do contractors bring us in?
✔ When workload increases
✔ Entering new jurisdictions
✔ Cities became unpredictable
✔ Internal team gets stretched
What will we do for you?
Project Review
-
Identify the jurisdiction where the work will be performed and its specific request (building codes and permitting processes).
-
We will review the detailed plans and specifications provided by the client, including equipment layout, ventilation, insulation, electrical systems, and other relevant technical details. The project details should clearly define the type of system being installed, scope of work, proposed plans, equipment type and purpose, location within the commercial space, and any specific requirements.
-
We will research and understand local building codes and regulations related to the project to help in the preparation of accurate plans (provided by the client) and documentation for the permit application.
Permit Preparation
-
We will gather any necessary documents, such as system plans (provided to us), load calculations, equipment specifications, and other relevant technical details to the building department for them to assess whether the proposed work complies with local codes.
-
We will reach out to the local building department or permit office in the jurisdiction where the work will take place to discuss your project.
-
We will complete the required permit application form including all necessary documentation, plans (provided to us), and specifications.
Permit Approval
-
We will process the payment using the client’s preferred payment method; the client covers all fees.
-
We will plan and schedule for inspections at various stages of the installation, including checks on structural components, electrical systems, insulation, and refrigeration equipment.
-
We will ensure that the installation is in compliance with all local building codes and regulations. Address any identified issues promptly to maintain compliance. Submit corrections/modifications and requested documentation as requested to bring the system into compliance.
